Dr. Ferzli has lectured in major medical schools and universities as well as operated in hospitals around the globe.

Dr. Ferzli has developed and patented several crucial and life-saving medical instruments.

Dr. Ferzli is the proud recipient of many Honors and Citations including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

Dr. Ferzli served as Director of the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery from 1995 through 2026, making him its longest-serving director. During his tenure, he trained 40 fellows in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery
